Helping You Make The Right Choices

Patient/Caregiver

We know just how difficult it can be to hear a cancer diagnosis.

A disease that takes a toll physically and emotionally, cancer is immensely challenging for patients and their families.

That is why everyone at Commonwealth Hematology-Oncologyis dedicated to providing the treatment and support services that patients and their loved ones need. There are many different options for cancer treatment. We will help you determine which one is right for you. Our goal? It’s to help you get back to living as a survivor.

For Caregivers

As a family member or friend of someone dealing with cancer, you have a very difficult job. Part medical assistant, part cheerleader, part organizer-in-chief, you are called on to serve many different roles, often simultaneously.

And yet, you have the same questions, the same concerns, and the same hopes that your patient does.

So we’re here to help you with resources and support tailored to your needs.

In addition to books and other publications available at your library or bookstore, you’ll find several online resources that offer support for families coping with cancer. Each CHO office has brochures related to your patient’s disease.
