Directions to Melrose Clinic

From Boston and South of Boston: Take Route 93 North. After the Medford area exits watch for large Spot Pond on right. Take exit for Route 28, Stoneham and Melrose, immediately after Spot Pond. Go right at the lights at Friendly's Ice Cream. Take first left after Stone Zoo, onto Pond Street. Go left at first set of lights (at J.J. Grimsby Restaurant). Continue to third set of lights at Main Street, Melrose (Shell gas station). Go right on Main Street, hospital Is two blocks on your left. Alternate Route: Route 1 Northbound from Boston: Take Route 1 North. In Saugus, watch for Gibbs Ford on left. Take exit marked Essex Street, Melrose and Saugus, immediately after you pass under cement bridge after Gibbs Ford. Go right off exit ramp and over Route 1 bridge toward Melrose; Essex Street will become Upham Street, Melrose. Continue to first set of lights (Lebanon Street). Go right on Main Street. Hospital is two blocks on your right. Coming from Route 128 Northbound: Take Route 128 North to Route 93 South (toward Boston). Take Exit 35, Melrose and Winchester Highlands. Go left at end of ramp, and go under the overpass, then first right. Then continue through lights at Friendly's Ice Cream. Take first left after Stone Zoo, on to Pond Street -Take left at first lights (at J.J. Grimsby Restaurant Continue to third set of lights at Main Street, Melrose (Shell Gas Station). Go right on Main Street hospital is two blocks on your left. Coming from North of Boston: Take Route 93 South to Exit 35, Melrose and Winchester Highlands. Go left at end of ramp and go under the overpass. Then first right, then continue through lights at Friendly's Ice Cream. Take first left after Stone Zoo, onto Pond Street. Take left at first lights, (at J.J. Grimsby Restaurant). Continue to third set of lights at Main Street, Melrose (Shell Gas Station). Go on Main Street, hospital is two blocks on your left. Alternate Route: Coming from North Shore Area: Take Route 128 to Route 1 South. Take exit in Saugus for Lynn Fells Parkway at Russo's Candy Store (toward Melrose-only way you can get on). Go to second set of lights (Main Street, Melrose, Shell gas station) and go left. Hospital is two blocks on your left. Getting to the hospital on the MBTA: Take the Orange Line North to the Oak Grove Station. From there, take any of the buses heading North on Main Street on the following numbered routes: 130, 131, or 136 and 137. Once the bus passes through the downtown business district of Melrose, start looking for the hospital on your right, at the intersection of Main, Lebanon and Porter streets. We are across the street from Ell Pond which will be on your left. Also accessible by Orange Line or Commuter Rail- Go to Malden Center Station and take either bus #136 or #137.
