About
Commonwealth Hematology-Oncology is the largest private practice cancer care group in Massachusetts, with more than 22 medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, cancer genetics specialists and a growing team of oncology nurses and support staff.
We have 11 offices and numerous clinical affiliations throughout the area, and, with the addition of a practice inĀ Worcester, we expect to accommodate nearly 125,000 patient visits and treatments a year. Together, we strive to care for patients in the community health care system while we also work with major medical centers on new treatment protocols.
In 2010, CHO became one of only two cancer practices in Massachusetts to be certified by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative, a rigorous, oncologist-led, practice-based quality improvement program. QOPI’s goal is to promote excellence in cancer care by helping practices create a culture of self-examination and improvement.
